About the AI Agents & Orchestration certification
Move beyond single prompts to autonomous, tool-using AI systems. This professional certification covers what truly distinguishes an LLM agent from a chatbot: the agent loop (ReAct — reason, act, observe), tool and function calling, and the planning strategies — task decomposition, plan-and-execute, and tree-of-thoughts — that let agents tackle multi-step goals. You will master agent memory: short-term context windows, long-term vector stores, and episodic recall, and learn when each is the right tool. The second half is about systems and reliability. You will design multi-agent architectures — orchestrator-worker, role specialization, debate, and hand-off — and reason about the orchestration patterns and frameworks that coordinate them. You will add reflection and self-critique, build evaluation harnesses that score task success, trajectory quality, and cost, and diagnose the failure modes that sink real deployments: infinite loops, hallucinated tools, error cascades, and prompt injection. Finally you will engineer guardrails and safety — sandboxing, least-privilege permissions, and human-in-the-loop approval — while controlling cost and latency and making runs reproducible and observable through tracing. By the end you can architect an agentic system, defend each design choice against its alternatives, and ship it with the guardrails and telemetry a production deployment demands.
What you will learn
The official AI Agents & Orchestration study course covers:
- The Agent Loop — What makes an LLM an agent: the ReAct reason-act-observe loop, tool/function calling, and how the runtime turns model requests into real actions.
- Planning & Reasoning — How agents tackle multi-step goals: task decomposition, plan-and-execute, and tree-of-thoughts search.
- Agent Memory — The three memory systems an agent uses: short-term context, long-term vector memory, and episodic recall — and how to manage the token budget.
- Multi-Agent Orchestration — Coordinating several agents: single vs multi-agent trade-offs, orchestrator-worker, debate, hand-off, and the frameworks that wire them together.
- Reliability, Evaluation & Safety — Making agents production-ready: reflection, evaluating success/trajectory/cost, the classic failure modes, and the guardrails — sandboxing, permissio…
- Hands-on Lab — Build a Tool-Using Agent — An agents capstone in Google Colab: implement the agent loop by hand (no framework), give the model real tools, add memory, coordinate a second agent…
